03Windows Stand-alone

We have also dealt with smart client based projects and stand-alone Windows based applications. Our projects clearly demonstrate the conceptual difference between a web application and a Windows application. Data Technologies, Data Access Layer and LINQ

We have developed our own framework for Data Access based on Ado.Net. This technology supports multiple databases and dynamic query generation. In quite a few projects, we have used LINQ for data handling, in the 3.5 version of the framework. We have also created Dotnet projects on SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.

Middle-Tier Technologies

Out of the middle-tier technologies, we have used Asp.Net Web Services for designing and developing applications that use web services to form the middle tier. We created product APIs using Web Services that allow software to be easily integrated with external applications. Our experience with Dotnet Remoting techniques has been utilized in applications that depend on Dotnet remoting for message communication, connecting the different application tiers. Windows Communication Foundation technology has been used in quite a few projects that needed SOA approach. It helps in creating service buses.
